Do you have a suitable place to put it?

Solar PV panels need un-shaded roof or wall space that is predominantly facing South. If the surface is shaded for part of the day it will not be as efficient.

Is your roof strong enough?

Most roofs are strong enough to take the weight of EEC Solar PV panels. Our pre-installation survey is designed to check that the roof is adequate before the installation process is started.

Do you need planning permission?

In England, Scotland & Wales, planning permission is not needed for most home solar PV systems. If your home is a listed building, or is in a Conservation Area or World Heritage Site we can advise you during the survey stage.
