How long will it take to pay for itself?

The time it takes your EEC Solar PV system to pay for itself can only be accurately predicted on a case by case basis. This is because it will also be determined by the cost of the energy that you are replacing - most of us have seen our electricity bills double over the previous five years. If this rate of increase continues, pay back times will be even shorter.

Can I install the Solar Panels myself?

NO, in order to receive your "Feed in tariff" your Solar Panels have to be installed by an MCS (Micro Generation Certification Scheme) accredited company. An approved company must use approved products to ensure the quality efficiency and reliability of the system.
